Joan Flasch Artist Book Collection Visit

We would like to extend our gratitude to April Sheridan, the SAIC Special Collections Manager, for hosting our visit to the Joan Flasch Artist Book Collection at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. The Artist's Book Collection is a remarkable archive of artists' work from around the world. During our visit, we had the opportunity to explore a diverse selection of books, featuring works created using various printing techniques such as letterpress, offset, screenprinting, textiles, and risograph printing. We were thrilled to view works from celebrated artists such as Kara Walker, Dieter Roth, Kameelah Janan Rasheed, Chris Burden, and many others.
