Herskovits Library of African Studies head curator pulled some really amazing items for the group to view including: a 16th Century chronicle of Ethiopia, Tahir Square uprising posters, new zines and some gorgeous etchings.

CPG members visited the Prints and Drawings Room at The Art Institute of Chicago! We went on a personal tour guided by Janet and Craig Duchossois Curator of Prints and Drawings, Mark Pascale.Below

Too Much Press Visit

We had a lovely time visiting Too Much Press this month! Angela Davis Fegan and Amy Leners gave us a fabulous letterpress demo and we talked about 80s music. Their studio is located in the Bubbly Dynamics building in Bridgeport and features printing, bookbinding, and a setup for sewing/garment production.
